United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental company, with more than $9 billion in fleet and more than 890 branch locations. Though the company is the established industry leader, its visual brand had fragmented over the years and didn’t reflect that leadership.
Our first order of business was to establish a simplified design system to ensure consistency across all United Rentals materials moving forward. This meant developing a pared-down colour palette, well-defined visual characteristics, and clear messaging. Now that we've squared the door frames, we can help United Rentals integrate more digital concepts into its service offering and the way it connects with customers.
